Something we’ve learned from the resilience interviews is that healing can take many forms. Maybe you find healing in writing, boxing, beading, film making, ceremony, conducting research, dancing, or spending time with your kin. We hope you know people who nurture and support your path. If not, maybe some of the following leads can help provide support or inspiration. Most are Edmonton/amiskwacîwâskahikan based. Always reach out if you’re having trouble. They say that we’re the prayers of our ancestors, so hold yourself close.
If you know Indigenous healers, nutritionists, yoga instructors, etc that should be added to this list, contact us! 🙂
